Perry to Republicans: "Just say no"
Me to Perry: "Go Fuck yourself"
Texas Republican Governor Rick Perry at a three-day Southern Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans tells GOP presidential candidates to just say no to President Barack Obama and no to anything that makes Washington relevant to the American People.
Now there's a true leader for you, just say NO. Obviously he learned that from Nancy Regan but what he failed to realize is that she was talking about drugs and not governing the country. The GOP is lost in a sea of democracy without a captain. The GOP needs to realize that to get anything done, you first have to have an idea and then you need to actually need to participate in governing all the people and not merely a select few. They also need to realize that they lost this past presidential election because the majority said so, and due to the fact that the first eight years of this decade, while a Republican was in office, they lied cheated and deceived the people of this country, so why should we believe they have an answer for anything when all they know is "No".
Its time we put a Democrat back in office as Texas Governor. According to the USAToday 2008 presidential election results. Barack Obama received over a million more votes than Democratic candidate John Kerry in 2004. If Texans keep that trend up in 2012, we'll have a Democrat back in office. First time since Carter in 1976.

Nice post, especially caught my attention with the title
ReplyDeleteThis is in response to "Fess Up, Y'all Know Govt Matters" blog posted on April 6, 2010. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, we all have different opinions, and some do stink. This makes me want to go Republican! One might believe that the sub-subtitle (guess that is what it is) is uncalled for and offensive. The GOP (Grand Old Party) is probably rolling on the floor and laughing their . . . off. Use of language like that is not going to get anyone anywhere except on the watch list. This is suppose to be about Texas Government, not national. What Perry said to the GOP at the conference pertained to national government, and he was probably throwing his hat into the ring to become our next President. Watch out America! Links as to where you obtained your information from would be nice to see. As for your comment about the last Democrat in office, first you are you talking about Texas then you bounce to National Government. FYI: Ann Richards was the last Democratic Governor of Texas in 1991-95.
ReplyDeleteI do like your comment about Perry and Regan thou.
All in all I would have to, "Just say no" about this post!
This is in response to Rick Perry,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I truly agree with you about Rick Perry, He has his as.. way over his head and doesn’t realize it. During his visit at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, he requests the presidential candidates’ just to say “NO” to President Barack Obama and No to anything that makes Washington relevant to the American people. The Governor of Texas seems to speak for himself and a few members of his party. As a leader he should show more respect to others elected officials who are elected by the people, whose job is to find ways to better our lives and the future of our State and our country.
Yes, we are in titled to our opinion in our leadership. It is also my opinion that our leaders in Texas have not done what is required of them, as citizen of this state, we need to organize ourselves and get the vote out and change what needs to be changed for the best of the people of this state. As for Mr. Perry, it is about time you step down and allow someone else run this state
I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their opinion. We have the freedom of speech guaranteed to us with the first amendment. Before I agree or disagree with the blog I would like to offer a little constructive criticism. The language used I feel is appropriate for the way the blogger feels and I have no problem with it, however this blog is intended for many to read and if the blogger is not careful can come off as ill informed and uneducated. Another comment is the blogger needs to make sure all of the facts are checked.
ReplyDeleteNow with the post in general I have to disagree. Perry is trying to rally the GOP so that they can as a whole disagree with what the president is doing. They are trying to separate themselves and distance themselves away from President Obama, who is losing popularity fast. Perry appears to have aspirations to become president one day and if the general public is not favoring President Obama and the Democrats, Perry seems to be making the right moves. I believe that Perry will probably win the Governors election later on this year, and that the Republicans will remain in office for the time being.
I do enjoy reading the blog being more conservative myself. I have to say that the blogger does a great job voicing her opinion and if she truly believes it she could keep going. I don’t have to agree with it to show respect for her opinion. That’s what makes politics a joy to talk to about.
This is in response to "Fess Up, Y'all Know Govt Matters" blog posted on April 6, 2010. I honestly believe you are right about having Democrats run our state again. Rick Perry is making us look foolish for just saying no to something that Washington and OUR President tells us. He wouldn't feel that way if one of his buddies was in office or even if he was in Washington or office. Well I just say no to Perry. It is time for him to just let someone else take the role as governor. And not make us look like ignorant rednecks.
ReplyDeleteFess up, Y’all know Gov’t matters blog is very interesting in regards to Governor Rick Perry and the people of Texas. In their blog, “Original editorial or commentary #1” they have a valid point in what the state of Texas should really do with Governor Rick Perry. The Republicans have been in office for quite some time now and I believe they should let someone else take over. That someone taking over is a Democrat. Governor Perry has been in office too long and I believe he is getting way to comfortable living in his mansion.
ReplyDeleteDuring, “Fess up, Y’all know Gov’t matters blog,” she has a valid point about all Governor Rick Perry has been doing is saying, “NO.” I think maybe once throughout his term he should say, “YES.” If Rick Perry would actually agree with someone or something and not denying things all the time, maybe Texas could be doing a lot better than running almost last in every category.
This blog under, Fess up, Y’all know Gov’t matters blog, “was very good opinionated blog. Only time will tell if Governor Rick Perry has the ability to stay in office for another term.
